On November 27th, Matson announced the upcoming official launch of its new weekly express service, "Laem Chabang - Shanghai - West America". Jointly developed by Matson and Jinjiang Shipping, this express service will see Jinjiang Shipping's feeder service from Laem Chabang to Shanghai seamlessly connect with Matson's two trans-Pacific express services (CLX and MAX) at the Port of Shanghai. This connection will deliver fast and reliable transit times of 21 and 22 days from Thailand's Laem Chabang Port to the Port of Long Beach in West America, establishing a premium express route between Thailand and West America under Matson's brand.

Matson and Jinjiang Shipping have a proven track record of successful cooperation: since launching the premium express service "Haiphong - Shanghai - West America" in March 2023 and the "Ho Chi Minh City - Shanghai - West America" premium express service in April 2025, Jinjiang Shipping has achieved an impressive connection success rate of 99% and 100% respectively for its Haiphong-Shanghai and Ho Chi Minh City-Shanghai feeder services with Matson's weekly CLX and MAX express services. We anticipate that the "Laem Chabang - Shanghai - West America" premium express service will continue this outstanding performance, offering Matson's customers another optimal express shipping option in the trans-Pacific market.

After the cargo arrives at the Port of Long Beach in West America, customers can directly pick up container chassis units the next day at Matson's off-port yard operated by STE (Shippers Transport Express).
